We are seeking a part-time instructor for the following: Driver Education The three courses cover the content needed to earn Iowa teaching endorsement #118 --- Driver and safety education. 5-12, which includes coursework in accident prevention (that includes drug and alcohol abuse), vehicle safety, and behind-the-wheel driving. The program is a combination of online learning experiences, field assignments and supervised behind-the-wheel experiences.
Requirements: Master’s degree with requirements met for Driver and Safety Education endorsement, grades 5-12; 3 years’ experience in Driver Education preferably with an Iowa school district or private behind-the-wheel programs. Preference given to candidates with experience designing and delivering online instruction. Excellent driving record required.
