ART/PHOTOGRAPHY - Part-time Faculty

Location: Des Moines, IA

We are accepting applications for part-time faculty for Fall 2014.  Previous teaching experience and relevant experience in the subject area are desired.  Applicants must have a Master's Degree in a studio or design area.  Please include letter of application, vita/resume, transcripts (unofficial satisfactory at this time) and contact information for three references in your online application materials.

Instructors needed for the following: 
 
Arts 103C Principles of Design I  MWF 1-2:50 pm 8/25/14-12/13/14
This is a basic 2D Design studio course.  Emphasis is on manual skills and foundational design knowledge.  Must have advanced degree, MFA in Studio Arts or Design-related area preferred.
 
Arts 300B Graphic Design III TTh 1-3:50 pm 8/25/14 - 12/13/14 
Arts 401B Graphic Design IV MWF 10-11:50 am 8/25/14 - 12/13/14
Candidate will teach upper division graphic design classes. The candidate must be versant with the Adobe Creative Suite, both print and interactive. Must have advanced degree, MFA in Graphic Design preferred.
   
PHOT 131-M1 Basic Digital Photography  8:10 - 10:25 pm TTh  8/25/14 - 10/18/14 Main Campus
This is a basic photo course teaching camera controls, exposure techniques, basic photoshop, composition, photo as a communicative and fine art. Must have advanced degree, MFA in Photography preferred.
