PhD preferred, Master's degree in the content area required. Instructors needed for the following: Grand View University's Education Department is looking for ELL teachers to be supervisors. The supervisor has the responsibility for assisting, coaching, supervising, and evaluating the teacher in the classroom during their practicum.
Grand View University’s Education Department is seeking an individual with Special Education experience to supervise students on a part time basis. The individual must have availability during the day and have certification in Instructional Strategist 2 or the equivalent. Elementary and Secondary Student Teaching Supervisors: The Grand View supervisor has the responsibility for assisting, coaching, supervising, and evaluating the student teacher during the semester of student teaching. Supervisors are required to visit and observe every other week for each 8-week placement (students have 2 - placements). Supervisors must also participate in the mid-term evaluation and final evaluation conference with the student teacher and the cooperating teacher. Other responsibilities center on the assessment of the student teaching assignments. Supervisors needed for all areas, but particularly for Art.
