We are accepting applications for part-time faculty for online (asynchronous format) teaching in Summer 2023. Previous experience teaching online introductory biology required, including online laboratory instruction. Ph.D. preferred, Master's degree in the content area required. Please include letter of application, vita/resume, transcripts (unofficial satisfactory at this time) and contact information for two references in your online application materials.

A description of the course(s) to be taught is included here: How Life Works is designed for non-science majors, and will build on students' natural curiosity about living things. The course will focus students' attention on discovering how biology plays a major role in our lives, the health of people, and the planet. Topics that will be explored include how curiosity guides scientific research, how we define life, the beauty of life's diversity, the co-dependence of living things, the inheritance of our traits, and how life and the environment change.
